This is a demo of a game called Ebon Fantasy,
The world of ebon fantasy is covered in darkness after an ancient curse spread across the land. Ruined castles, haunted forests, forgotten villages, moonlit graveyards, and shadowy caverns fill the world. A pale moon hangs over every stage, giving the game its dark fantasy feel.
Gameplay
- Side-scrolling 2D action
- Retro 16-bit pixel graphics
- Multiple unique stages ending at World 5-5
- Sword-based combat against monsters and dark creatures
- Platforming challenges with pits, moving platforms, and traps
- Increasing difficulty as the player progresses
Structure
- Levels are numbered like classic retro games (1-1, 1-2, etc.)
- Each stage has its own theme and enemies
- After completing a level, a "STAGE COMPLETE" screen appears in an 8-bit font
- A victory sound plays automatically
- The game then moves to the next stage without requiring the player to press a button
Visual Style
- Sega Genesis-inspired color palette
- Detailed pixel-art backgrounds
- Dark forests, moonlit landscapes, stone ruins, and haunted locations
- Heavy emphasis on atmosphere and exploration
Story
A lone warrior journeys through the cursed kingdom of ebom to defeat the source of the darkness. As they travel deeper into the realm, they uncover the truth behind the curse and face increasingly powerful enemies guarding the path to the final confrontation.
