The author: "The 1985 Tehkan arcade pinball running the arcade's own program: its code was disassembled, moved to the Spectrum and checked against the original, so the ball physics, rules, scoring, demo and high-score table are the arcade's.
Four tables, main, slot, bowling and cards, redrawn for the Spectrum, with every lamp and moving part driven by the arcade's own state. The arcade ran two Z80s and three AY chips; its sound program now plays its tunes and effects on the Spectrum's single AY.
A lot of optimizations were required to fit the arcade's relaxed hardware into our beloved 3.5Mhz Speccy, it took its time but i think it was worth it. All graphics were converted / retouched by me, i am not a graphic artist but i did my best".
