A ZX Spectrum game made during a 2 week game jam.
You play Arthur Moon, the village gardener, with a village show coming and the village in bloom contest with a huge £100 prize up for grabs you've been asked to look after everyone's garden, but the rival village have released some hungry slugs to destroy their chances.
In the garden you have some lovely flowers, juicy carrots and a slug invasion
The slugs roam around looking for tasty morsels, when they find one they stop and tuck in.
Slugs will kill Arthur if they are roaming looking for food, you can only squidge a slug when they are eating, you must hit them twice, one will only stun them, slowing them down.
You have to protect the garden, if you run out of flowers or carrots it’s game over.
Luckily there is also a seed box handy, so you can replant, but there is a limited number of seeds in it, so you can stop the slugs, and replant the garden, the more plants at the end of the time the bigger the bonus.
