Clockwiser 1994 puzzle game re-release -P & MAC-

Metin Seven: A portable re-release for Windows and MacOS of the 1994 Clockwiser puzzle game

Clockwiser is a puzzle game created by Reinier van Vliet (game design and Amiga code), Metin Seven (graphics), Ramon Braumuller (music), and Peter Schaap (MS-DOS and Windows conversions). The game was released in 1994 on 3.5 inch diskettes for Amiga (OCS and AGA chipset), MS-DOS and Windows 3.1, and on CD-ROM for the CD32 game console.

In Clockwiser, you need to change an arrangement of puzzle elements with different properties in the left half of the screen to match an arrangement in the right half of the screen. To do so, you can drag a rectangular range inside the left half, then click on one of the clock icons to shift elements along the range in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.

The game code was converted from the original Amiga 68000 Assembly code to portable C, enabling the game to run on Windows or MacOS without an Amiga emulator.

The source code and assets are available here. If you build a Linux version, I would appreciate it if you would share the executable with me, so I can make it available to the gaming community. Many thanks in advance.

More info and downloads can be found in the Clockwiser Archive.

Have fun, and also check out our other games: Hoi and its 1997 sequel Moon Child!
