Isometric Dungeon Crawler RPG game "HeroQuest" for Scorpion GMX with PC graphics (2026)

HeroQuest is an isometric dungeon crawler adapted from the PC version for the Scorpion platform with GMX extension. All graphics are converted from PC, supporting an extended screen mode.

The game contains 24 levels, including 14 from the first part and 10 from the second. The player can choose between English and Russian languages. Music and sound effects are available exclusively for General Sound, with no AY support. There is support for a Kempston mouse and a built-in cheat menu, although access to it is concealed. The first mouse button click during the intro defines it as the fire button.

Players can select their spells from elemental categories and choose equipment and items for characters. The party consists of recognizable archetypes from the original board game, and progression is tracked by gold and equipment collected. The main antagonistic figure is visible throughout the menus and play sequences. The interface and visual elements remain faithful to the source material by Games Workshop.

This version is credited as a GMX conversion by PLM, Orenburg, dated 2026, and retains the narrative and mechanics of the original release, including character selection, spell assignment, and map navigation through isometric levels.
