Langford: "Automania was one of the first Spectrum remakes I created for PC, and much like "The Hunch", it originally used a rather questionable graphic style I’m no longer happy with. So I rebuilt the whole thing from scratch. The new version adds full controller support, lets you switch between full‑colour and classic Spectrum palettes, and includes optional CRT‑style scanlines. Decorative borders — also optional — can fill the widescreen area, and you can now play in either full‑screen or windowed mode. As with my original remake, there’s also an added bonus level tucked in at the end.

Guide Wally through a cluttered garage full of wobbling gangplanks, bouncing tyres, and precariously stacked junk. Your job is simple — fetch six parts for each car, take them to the workshop, and assemble the vehicles without falling off anything, dropping anything, or being knocked over by anything. Build the full fleet and there's a possibility you may even get paid!"
