ZNAKE is a very simple Snake/Worm/Nibbles - like game for the ZX Spectrum. It is his very first complete retro-game, coded back in 2005 in C and built with z88dk.
Within the Retro Snake Game Jam, held in 2023, he took the opportunity to revamp the project and clean up the program, in order to remove some redundancies and make the code compatible with more recent z88dk version.

The Story
=========
Our hero is parachuted from a helicopter onto a small island in the middle of the ocean, from where he will - what else? - save the world. Unfortunately, strong oceanic winds make it impossible to safely direct the flight (fall?) to the target, and an evil enemy has suspended numerous flying mines.
The parachutist will have to try to counteract the winds, avoid the mines, and eventually land on the tiny target to complete the mission. Will he succeed?

Only a few copies were ever sold of adidas Championship Football in France by Ocean Software. A handful of copies were known to exist, but were yet to be preserved. This changed on the 22nd March thanks to Galahad, with yet another great preservation effort.
Over at the English Amiga Board, Galahad revealed that the game was secured via Paul Badham (@MrBads_Games) who brought the game on Ebay with the hope that it was the Amiga edition (but thinking it probably wasn’t).
Turns out it was, and was bought for the cheap price of £4.99! After some negotiations, the game was kindly passed over for preservation, and which you can now play for yourself.

Unfortunately the Atari ST version is still at large, so it is hoped that some day this too will surface.

This game was written for the Basic 10-Liner Contest 2023 in the PUR-80 category. It's written for Commodore 64/128 computers.
## Aim of the game
As in all rogue-like games, your aim is to explore as many randomly generated dungeons as possible, not get slain and find as much gold as you can carry!
TEN-LINE MINIMAL LUNAR LANDER

IDEA
----
The simulator objective is to land the spaceship on the word MOON.
The ship has two engines P and Q, in the left+up vector and in the vector
right+up. The engines allow to overcome the lunar gravity and move
left/right the ship.
Landing is valid if the speeds vertical and horizontal are close to zero.

The game is classic 'crap game' faire, and would sit happily on Cassette 50. It has no loading screen, but a nice BASIC intro screen which make good use of a couple of well designed UDGs, and there is even a bit of a beeper tune.
You play Keeper Joe, and you must capture a monkey 'ninja' that has escaped. However the intro warns of 'complications'. What could these complications be, I wonder?

Tras casi un año y medio de ausencia, volveremos a disfrutar del evento más Retro y Ochentero de la Ciutat Comtal: La RETROMANIACS ARCANDREU. Los próximos 15 y 16 de Abril, el Espai Josep Bota del antiguo recinto fabril de la Fabra i Coats en Sant Andreu de Palomar (Barcelona), celebramos la cuarta edición. Este evento es de Retrogamers para Retrogamers, y también de aficionados a los Videojuegos y al Pinball en general. Este año le rendimos homenaje a Dragon’s Lair que cumple 40 años y del cual os estamos preparando una buena sorpresa.
De momento, el juego se puede adquirir en preventa a un precio de 25,95 € en versiones para Windows, Mac y Linux y con unos requisitos, técnicos, acordes a los que tenía el original, es decir, poco exigentes para las máquinas del momento y poder llegar la máximo posible de público.
Otro hecho, muy destacable y considerado, es que se está contando con los usuarios y los Clubes, a través de sugerencias y encuestas para el desarrollo del proyecto por parte de Una Partida Más SLR, creadores de PC Fútbol 2024.

Hasta aquí, lo destacable y atrayente... que no es poco. No obstante, dentro de lo que engloba este videojuego quedan muchas dudas por resolver, que han despertado el recelo de la comunidad. Preguntas del tipo, por citar algunas:

CPCMiniPac is a game based on Pac-Man. The aim is to eat all the points without getting caught by a ghost.
The original game was programmed by Brian Astle for the CHIP-8 interpreter running on the COSMAC VIP computer and published in the RCA COSMAC VIP Game Manual in 1978.

In Pearl Rain, you’re seeking to find immense wealth and divine knowledge. In order to accumulate this, you have traveled to a sacred location where pearls fall from the sky, leaving them for you to collect.
In the game itself, this means having a 9 x 9 matrix Smörgåsbord of deliciously retro-colored pearls at your disposal, and you’ll have to line ’em up to match three or more. Sounds easy, right? Well, to be frank – you only have a set number of moves to accomplish this. If you have depleted your given amount of moves, the party is over, and you’re out in the ice and snow, only to have another go. Luckily, aforementioned bombs and disco balls are there to aid you. Also, the second fire button will be waiting under your fingers to provide you with useful visual hints.
A colorful puzzle game for the standard MSX1 generation with smashing tunes that’ll keep you occupied for the next couple of hours.
